in addition to learning events, alvaro also helps host and sponsor events that put judges and lawyers in the same room, furthering the vital connections that are essential for any successful law practice.

3a. is not just a business, but also a philosophy. giving back is a large part of what we do, and has been part of our culture since our inception. when not working directly with clients, alvaro spends his time working with many non-profit organizations. 


alvaro sits on the board for georgia lawyers for the arts (GLA) , a non-profit organization that provides legal assistance and educational programming to artists and arts organizations. GLA, through their full schedule of educational seminars and classes; resource library, and network of over 500 volunteer and member attorneys, provides legal assistance to musicians, songwriters, photographers, filmmakers, painters, poets, graphic designers, actors, theatre companies, dance troupes, museums and artists from many other disciplines. operating since 1975, alvaro is one of a handful of non-lawyers to ever be appointed to the board.


E3 stands for “education, excellence & equity”. it is a non-profit organization that uses their developed and proven data driven approach to improve the chances of the academic and life success for all students, especially those previously perceived as likely to fail. alvaro has sat on the board since the year 2012.

alvaro is a co-chair for the tower of talent, an inspirational concert showcasing Atlanta’s most talented kids ages 6 to 18. children perform, sing and entertain where all proceeds will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.


RED Inc. (rehabilitation enables dreams) is a non-profit organization which sponsors GED (general education diploma or graduate equivalent diploma) programs for impoverished individuals and juveniles facing non-violent criminal charges. RED Inc.’s mission is to increase literacy, reduce poverty and stop recidivism amongst america’s youth.
